Neuromodulators
At AVO Medical Aesthetics, our neuromodulator treatments — Dysport®, and Xeomin® — are expertly administered to relax targeted facial muscles and smooth fine lines caused by expression movement.
These FDA-approved injectables work by temporarily reducing muscle activity, softening lines such as crow’s feet, glabellar lines ("11"), and forehead wrinkles — all while maintaining your natural expression. Results typically begin to appear within a few days and days and last 3-4 months, depending on the product and the individual.

Important Information & Treatment Disclaimer
All injectable treatments — including Dysport®, Xeomin®, Belotero®, Sculptra®, Restylane®, Revanesse®/Versa®, and Kybella® — are prescription medical procedures that require an in-person consultation and medical clearance by a licensed provider at AVO Medical Aesthetics.
Results vary by individual and depend on age, lifestyle, skin condition, and treatment plan.
Please inform your provider of all medications, supplements, allergies, and medical history, and previous treatments prior to your appointment.
Before Your Appointment
• Avoid alcohol, blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, vitamin E, turmeric, fish oil, etc.), and high-intensity exercise for 24–48 hours to help minimize bruising.
• Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup, SPF, or topical products.
• Hydrate well the day before and day of treatment.
• Notify your provider If you have a history of cold sores.
After Your Treatment
• Do not rub or massage treated areas for at least 24 hours unless instructed otherwise.
• Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, hot steam rooms direct heat, tanning beds, facials, for 24–48 hours.
• Mild swelling, redness, or tenderness is normal and usually resolves within a few days.
• Sleep on your back if possible for the first night.
• Makeup may generally be worn after 4-6 hours unless your provider advises otherwise.
• Contact your provider if you experience unusual, worsening, or persistent symptoms.
Treatments are non-refundable once administered and cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated.
All medical injectables at AVO Medical Aesthetics are performed by trained professionals following the highest safety and sterilization standards.
